The pilot plant of the LIFE ALGAECAN project located in the Huercasa business group facilities, in the province of Segovia, has started its activity (start-up). During the last days the plant has carried out centrifugation and spray drying operations of the microalgae, after previously maintaining them for 3 days of residence in the closed tanks without any contact with light, together with the residual water they are treating. The progress made at the plant will be reported in the coming weeks.
